History

Our preeminent position in the resort industry is upheld by constantly striving to exceed the needs of skiers and snowboarders, while carefully protecting the natural heritage of our surroundings. Honoring this challenge has shaped the unique philosophy of our culture, community and company. This way of life has been handed down for generations.

Place

Mount Mansfield is both a protective barrier and a celebrated attribute of the Stowe community. Its distinctiveness and mass grant us an earthly sense of proportion. Our mountain evokes a spectrum of emotions from fear to bravery, awe to serenity, and spirituality to awareness of self.

Each of the trails at Stowe Mountain Resort offers a unique experience - hence "The Great 48." Because no two trails are alike, individualism and self-expression awaken within those who explore the mountain's character. The mythology and magnetism of Stowe are the inspiration that continues to bring the community at large to this special place.

Energy

The natural forces that exist on our mountain in Vermont are invigorating and powerful. To lift one's spirit by simply and silently looking around is inspiring. Making a dynamic connection with the natural world is momentous. Our energy is derived from our sense of place, passions and culture. Georgian Peaks Club

Our 820 vertical feet is the highest, longest and most challenging terrain in all of Ontario. The Georgian Peaks Club is the only ski area in Ontario with enough vertical rise to hold a F.I.S. sanctioned Giant Slalom race. But beginners can rest easy on our ample intermediate and beginner slopes that accommodate all ages and abilities.

The Georgian Peaks has diligently upgraded our snowmaking systems every year. The result of this focus is a state of the art snowmaking infrastructure that when combined with our long serving and very knowledgeable team of snowmakers allows for the best conditions possible.  It's all about the snow!

We are a family focused Club offering a friendly environment with the best ski and snowboard instruction in all of Canada, 3 licensed lodges, 3 lounges with cozy fireplaces, 3 cafeterias, a sandwich and salad deli, stand up bar, personal storage lockers and full nursery facilities.

For over 50 years the Georgian Peaks has been providing exceptional experiences to member families and their guests in a relaxed and sincere atmosphere.

Mont-Tremblant

With 95 runs serviced by 14 state-of-the-art lifts, the mountain dominates a stunningly beautiful countryside. Here, those who live for the great outdoors and love to breathe clean air have the perfect playground. A paradise where ski and snowboard enthusiasts are both spoiled silly: 18 acres of ramps, rails and jumps. Taste the freedom, dare the mountain, live Tremblant to the fullest!

Woody's - Sailor

Woody’s is located in the heart of Toronto’s Boystown. Since opening in 1989, Woody’s and its brother bar Sailor (located next door) have become Toronto’s busiest and hottest gay men’s bars. A large and cavernous complex with five bars, Woody’s features nightly D.J.’s, men’s contests Thursday through Saturday (Best Chest, Best Ass, Best Legs), a pool table and 21 video monitors showing some of the sexiest images around. Woody’s enjoys added recognition for being featured in the popular television series “Queer as Folk”. As an added bonus, Priape – Canada’s favourite gay store featuring leatherwear, club wear, porn and toys is right above the Sailor bar. Woody’s front windows open up on Church Street providing a great view on Canada’s busiest and friendliest gay village.
